28/10/08. 3:00 AM, my sweet dream had been distracted with a phone call by our head of warden. With a little conciousness I have been told that there was a student whose been sent to the hospital with the ambulance and I as a replacement for warden duty have to go there and check the condition of that poor student. Thanks god, its all finish around 5:30 AM. With only one hour left, there is no in such condition that I can go to sleep again, so I just check my packing and do some neccessary things for the preparation. 6:30 AM, I still remember the moment which I had to be ready to go to Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) where MPC convocation took place. I feel very sleepy when my foot stepping step by step to the college bus. I just wish if I could take a good nap around, sometime maybe. Around 6:40 AM, if I'm not mistaken, we all depart. It's all 15 of us, TPHEA (Cik Hjh. Noraini), 4 head of departments (Ust. Md. Zan, Mdm. Zarina, Mdm. Munirah, Miss Isalinda), 5 lecturers (Mr. Ikhsan (it's me), Mr. Zainol, Ustzh. Noraini, Mdm Rohida, Miss Zuliarty), 2 administration staff (Kak Fauziah, Kak Yan), 2 technicion (Mr. Najmuddin and Mr. Saiful) and 2 drivers (Mr. Sakhawi and Mr. Sapri). Gender allocation is quite balance with 7 male and 8 female. Our feeling is not something interesting to share about because we are all in the mode of sleeping.
About an hour from our departure, a nightmare incidents ever imagine distracting and disturb our harmony ride to the PICC. Can we just imagine the situation where the bus are moving with a normal speed and suddenly one of the tyre are burst off. It is what happen to our journey. Momentarily, all of us were shock, panic and don't know how to elaborate our other thought and feeling on that time. I just grab the seat in front of me to be ready for what might happen next. To be honest, the only thing run through my head is the bus will collapse. Others are doing the same thing, but I do think that I'm the most winner for the acting part. It's all thanks to our driver, En. Sakhawi who handle the situation in calm manner to make sure that the bus are not collapse from the incidents. He has a wide experience in driving and must be a great help to this kind of situation. About 3 to 5 minutes then the bus were stop from moving. Right agfter the bus was stop, we all going out to see what happen to our bus that endanger our life (and it could be).

We were all amazed when look at the condition of the tyre and really appreciate to the god that no bad things happen and we are safe for the moment. Better than just staring at the tyre and talk about it, male are moving to change the tyre with the spare one. Ah, to tell all the details, it tooks all day long for what we have been doing to do a replacement. But, for each problem arise we encounter it with a good cooperation and teamwork. It's all truth when the quotes said "teamwork is key of the success". No order were taken, all of us are willingly to help. Just how heavy the tyre, without proper equipment, it's almost impossible to replace the tyre with the spare one which reside below the bus and require lots of manpower to handle the things. Desperately to finish the work as soon as for not to delay our arrival at PICC, we settling the mechanic parts around one hour later. Then we move again, tired and with dirty hand (including my cloth painted with grease).
At Temerloh RnR, we stop for repleneshing, breakfast, bath (those who get dirty with grease) and etc around half an hour. We moved again at 10:30AM. It's a long journey like never ending highway with our bus condition. Noise from the engine were make no difference with the radio turn on. I can't differentiate between songs and the engine sound. For those who are tired, the seat are very comfortable (is it?) to get rest and sleep. Actually no one can really sleep and comfortable with those kind of seat and noise. We can tell that all the passengers are college officer but still why denying our rights. Comfortable and safety is a priority and it should be. After all, we just pray hoping that our journey is safe. We do love our love out there.
We make it to PICC around 1:00PM and thankful it's a safe journey. It's not just that, we have to unloading all the stuff that we brought like a document, student tag, cloth etc, and all of this make 10 box. Answering either it's heavy or not are really irritating us. Rest still far from our rights because the rehearsal are set at 2:00PM. Before the rehearsal start, we need to prepare the registration counter and deal with the graduate students. As for me, I'm not from any part of the in charge officer. My presence is just a shaft bearer (aka cokmar). Cokmar is a shaft 1.5m long and a genuine wood forged with a steel. It has a KPM logos at his head. The weight of this shaft is more than 5kg. So, my responsibility is to practicing to be a bearer for the shaft. The costume are prepared by KPM Melaka, and they pass it to me right after we finish in setup the registration counter. Before I forgot, PICC is a nice place with a unique design and it serve well as an international place for any event such as conference. The lobby itself already make our eyes wide open expressing our naive. In such a place, we feel very small and very humble to witnessing God creation. The rehearsal was delayed because we are faced some technical problem. It start aroud 2:30PM.
I'm give up to write a full story of the MPC convocation at PICC tale. Enough if I just saying, everything are successful end even with a minor problem. I wish for another better journey for myself along with another BUS. Thanks for the experience.

feel free dropping some comments and its free though :) we have to realize that sharing is a key to what we called wonderful moments in a moments, then it comes to appreciation. :)
wah..it's already jan. 2009 and only now that I found out about this.
Thank God nothing happened to our dear lecturers or else KPM would have to open to a lot of replacement..not that i ever want that to happen, especially you, sir ikhsan and our dear mdm zarina..but anyway I'm REALLY glad that everyone was safe.
This shows that KPMIM MUST get a new bus before someone really gets hurt! Those who awaits their lecturers to arrive for celebrating the convo surely do not wish to see their lecturers got hurt or just a dead body coming to the convo! My dear KPM, please, please get a new bus!!
p/s: BTW, what did you mean that you were the most winner of the acting part?
From the line you gave, it seems you're the most known students :) at least you can tell in what batch and what courses you are, your comments is very interesting...anyway thax for the comment
I win the acting part because, just can you imagine how panic we are when suddenly the tyres blow and it's sound quit loud...i can't describe the situation, but i just grab the seat in front of me and look at the glass window to observe and plan what to do in case the buss collapse..oh thanks god it's not happening......
ha one more thing, ust matzan also already flee to the other side of bus because he seat exactly at the top of burst tyre, and i do think he feels fear more than others :)
